The Illuminati: Out of Chaos Comes Order

Another Hollywood production that presents the Illuminati in a fictional context is being produced. This will diminish the validity of the factual historical accounts of the Illuminati when presented to the public who are unaware of the subject. Instead they will associate any discussion of the Illuminati to fictional books and movies that whitewash the subject matter.
Do you know the feeling? You have studied a subject of conspiratorial character, you are beginning to get an idea of fact and fiction in the matter. You feel confident enough to start telling your buddies about what you have learned, and then...
Then the druids with ancient techniques of mindcontrol, (lets call it powerfull suggestion, it sounds better than black magic) are waving their wands of hollytree and blinding us with their silverscreen creations of Hollywood.
The Da Vinci code, The search for the holy grail and 2012 just to name a few. The examples are endless, this time we are getting a new truth mixed with the usual disinformation to get us really confussed.
I am of course talking about the, for now, higly anticipated movie called "Illuminati, Out of Chaos Comes Order"
The main cast for this Illuminati depiction are Lance Henriksen, C. Thomas Howell and Kevin Sorbo.
The Illuminati really exists, originally a secret society in Bavaria, founded by Adam Weishaubt, later forced underground. Some belive they are the ones still secretly controling world events.”
Former ‘Playboy’ editors Robert Anton Wilson and Bob Shea created the ‘Illuminatus! Trilogy’ based on the odd conspiracy letters sent to them while working at ‘Playboy’.
Steven Jackson created both a role playing game and a trading card game based on ‘Illuminatus!’ and Eye N Apple Comics/Rip Off Press did a comic book adaptation of the material. These projects shouldn’t be confused with the new project, ‘The Illuminati: Out of Chaos Comes Order’.
Writer Mark Sevi has "created" a whole world and a new mythology. Instead of the distant future, it’s set in the present using current technology such as dragon skin armor and metal storm guns. ‘Illuminti’ is set in a world grounded in reality but uses artistic license. So clever.
The Council of 13 secretly controls the major segments of the world. And while this secret group of Illuminati are controlling the world, a secret faction inside the Illuminati are trying to influence them.
Press materials pitch ‘Illuminati: Out of Chaos Comes Order’ as “A top assassin defects from the The Illuminati…and is now a free agent killing machine.”
The movie was written as a franchise, hoping to see the release of the film at the end of 2010. Tie-ins will also include video games from Manifest Games. Rumers also talk about a TV series to follow up.

In an older interview about the movie Kevin Sorbo said:
"It's serious Sci-fi - In fact as I like to say 'real Sci-fi' - in that the Illuminati created many technologies we don't currently have, like virtual mind-to-mind communication, intensive assassin training using psyops techniques, futuristic weaponry, and many things that would be considered science fiction today. The cool thing here is all the technologies in this script are extrapolated from real life technologies -- like Dragon Skin armor -- there really is such a thing. Of course, it's not electrified like in the movie or anything, but who really knows what the military has that they're developing? Charged armor that repels bullets and blades isn't impossible. It's probably right around the corner. In fact, everything in The Illuminati is 'right around the corner'. Again -- grounded in reality -- but not here just quite yet. That's what makes it good science fiction."
Furthermore:
"One of the conspiracy theories is that at a certain point the Illuminati bred or mated with reptiles in order to develop a 'super race' that highlighted the 'reptilian' part of the brain - which, again, actually exists. In fact there is an actual term 'Reptilian brain' which comes from the fact that a reptile's brain is dominated by the brain stem and cerebellum which controls instinctual survival behaviors and thinking. By mating with reptiles - the Illuminati possess that capability. So, the 'creatures' again are based in reality -- but that makes them all the more scary and cool. Other films and comics have played with this, but not like we do in the Illuminati where we've created a world and 'creatures' that again are futuristic and nothing you've seen before, but could be real. In certain situations the reptilian part of an Illuminati will take over and then the 'creature' is forced to show itself - kind of like a werewolf - but different."
As always...
